Flight **th May ****, Mumbai-Delhi, Indigo forced us to checkin cabin/hand baggage, hen there is plenty of space in cabin inspire having * seats booking, and ensure th bags will handle with care and will be handed on priority once we reach Delhi Airport. surprisingly the bags we receive on belt along with checked in baggage belt and were damaged and ca not be used any more as cabin baggage.
we had laughed complaint there and there itself at Delhi indigo office, and got assurance the issue will be resolved with day to two , we lost * hours of our checkout time because of this poor service. which impacted our further travel to Shimla and lost first day of our tour.
post we back from tour I followed up with the complaint and with multiple communication the indigo still sticking to their checkin baggage policy and offering peanuts for these damage. how checkin baggage policy applicable for this issue. As these are hand baggage we want the replacement of this bag or cost and not peanuts vouchers with their useless policy of damaging customer bags.
