- Damaged goods delivered Open
On the **st of May, I had hosted my birthday party for which I ordered ** large pizza's from the swiggy mobile application. The order number was *********** and the total amount I paid was Rupees ****/-
When I opened my pizza boxes to offer to my hungry awaiting guests all the pizzas I repeat All the damn pizzas were ruined & damaged. Completely destroyed and damaged. None of them was eatable.
After facing the embarrassment and blunder on my important day in front of a large crowd, I remained calm and called the swiggy agent to inquire what had happened. He mentioned that "I had informed swiggy that the order was too large for me to deliver but the swiggy team still forced me to deliver it. So whatever you got is not my problem!"
I then used the swiggy app to call the support staff hoping they could help me. But no they said that swiggy is not responsible for the delivery issues and that the most they can do are give me a coupon for Rs. *** against my order of Rupees ****. How on earth did the agent have the guts to tell me that the delivery issue is not Swiggy's responsibility when delivery is the only thing that swiggy does.

My party was ruined, all my guests left hungry and all their agents did not care a damn about it. Forget compensating me for the damages they even refused to process a refund for their mistake. if swiggy isn't responsible who is? The customer?
I emailed swiggy, I used their inbuilt chat function. I called swiggy and all they said was they will share feedback with the restaurant. It isn't the restaurant's fault so they are just trying to digress instead of owning up to their blunder and refunding my money. Please look into this and provide a resolution, because I want to make sure Swiggy never does this to another customer again.
