I made an order of pizza from swiggt on *th may ****. Order id ************
I received order with packaging intact. I paid cod of *** for entire order. But that's when I found out one of the pizza was damaged due to mishandling by swiggy delivery executive. I reported the issue on same day but they refunded me an under compensated coupon of ** rupee my pizza was *** rupee that got damaged as per information provided by swiggy executive on call.i informed them not to provide me with coupons and just give me back my money as food replacement was not possible. They said it's against their policy to refund amount in bank account on cod order. Then I asked is it in your policy to provide with under compensated coupons as refund. Then they said they can give another coupon of ** rupee and they provided me with one but I never confirmed them to provide me with one since I knew it's not in my best interest as * coupon means I'll have to order again twice which I m reluctant after the incident so I told them that when those coupons will expire in ** days you can provide with a single coupon of damaged pizza amount and I will not be availing those two coupons as it's their fault that I have separate coupons instead of one with actual refund that I deserved for my received damaged order.
Honestly till today they kept denying me ever resolution I suggest. They say what ever resolution I got is the best explain to me how is ** rupee and ** rupee coupons best for damaged pizza of amounting *** rupee single coupon if any one has placed an order before they are aware that these coupons can't be clubbed with any other offers and after adding delivery fee packaging charges and taxes it's gonna cost me more money then actually getting a proper refund.
Please help me as I m tired of tier repeated same responses and honestly at one point one of their escalation desk person even told me that she will be making an exception and will be refunding the balance *** rupee in my paytm used on * jan **** for an order so that when I asked why did this exception not done before I would have been getting all my money back then. She didn't no responded to that I have the audio recording of that telephonic conversation I mailed to their support but they also didn't commented on it instead they stuck to their original statement that thier policy don't allow them refund in cash on delivery orders. I m clueless now and has exhausted all my resources. All I wanted was a simple pizza but now I have nightmare every time I see an ad of food delivery services. I don't have any vehicle yet I visit Resutrant and get my own parcels now because till today I didn't got any satisfactory resolution which is why I m hasitant to make any more purchase via * rd party food delivery app.
