I had booked an airindia flight before lockdown started, and on **-**-****, when I asked Goibibo customer support if I can get a refund, they replied by saying that AirIndia is not offering any refund on cancellations. But immediately after that email, I received another email from their CUSTOMER SUPPORT saying that Rs. **** refund will be provided if I cancel. I confirmed with them once again asking them the actual refund amount. I gave them a go ahead and they went ahead with the cancellation. Since then, it took over ** days for them to provide me a refund of rs. ***, that too into goibibo wallet. When i asked them, where is the remaining refund, they said this is what AIRINDIA refunded. I kept asking them, why did you promise me another amount in that case? If I would have booked using AIRINDIA website, I would have held them accountable, but in this case, GOIBIBO was the agent and now they are playing games. I have full email conversation proof of the above, and can provide on request. If you go to their Support area (www.goibibo.com/support), there is no way to reach out to them directly using internet. Their chat service is automated and provides no help. phone numbers are of no use as well. GoIBIBO should not be able to play with people's money and trust like this.
