Nobroker Interiors - Complaint Regarding Substandard Work
Tauheed Ahmed filed complaint against Nobroker Interiors on Sep 2, 2024
I am writing to file a formal complaint against NoBroker Interior for the poor quality of work and significant deviations from the signed-off document in the interior work for my newly purchased house. Despite their claims that these modifications were made at the client's request during on-site installation, this is simply not true. Below, I have outlined the key problems and concerns:
*. Prolonged Delay and Lack of Progress: For the past month, no progress has been made on my project. We have held several discussions, including on-site meetings with the project manager, project designer, and other team members. Despite these efforts, no effective solutions have been implemented, and the project remains stalled. This ongoing delay has caused significant inconvenience and frustration.
*. Discrepancy in Granite Slab Size: The signed-off document specifies a granite slab size of ***mm (refer to Page ** of the Kitchen section). However, the actual usable space on-site measures only ***mm, with a total of ***mm when measured from the wall (refer to IMG-**, IMG-**, IMG-**, IMG-**, and Video VID-*). This discrepancy was not documented, making the installation unacceptable.
*. Violation of Agreed-Upon Specifications: The vanity unit installation was flawed, with one drawer cut irregularly, resulting in lost internal space (refer to IMG-**). This modification was not mentioned in the signed-off document. Despite my initial willingness to compromise, I now demand documented evidence of this modification's approval (refer to Pages **, **, and ** of the Kitchen section).
*. Substandard Quality of Work: The overall quality of work is unacceptable, with specific issues including:
o Broken wall marble on the corner (refer to IMG-**)
o Mismatched cabinet door colors (refer to IMG-**)
o Multiple marks and scratches on kitchen cabinets (refer to IMG-**)
o Loose and improperly fixed kitchen shelves (refer to IMG-** and IMG-**)
o Glue marks on the partition unit (refer to IMG-**)
o Non-functional tall unit drawers (refer to VID-*)
o Gaps between wall marble and storage unit not filled (refer to IMG-*)
o Visible nails on the partition unit (refer to IMG-* and IMG-*)
o Missing drying rack in the kitchen cabinet (refer to IMG-**)
o Additional marks and scratches on the partition unit (refer to IMG-*, IMG-**, IMG-*, IMG-*, IMG-**, IMG-**)
The lack of professionalism exhibited by the service provider, coupled with their failure to address these concerns, has led to significant delays and ongoing dissatisfaction.
