I had selected a car online and was advised to visit Mumbai branch of cars** at Kanjur. So on **th September I visited Kanjur branch and there the car which I had selected was not there. The staff informed me that the car was sold long back but they forgot to remove it from the site. They showed me one ertiga car and told me that it was a very good deal. So I was told to pay token money of Rs ***** online, which I did ,at *pm on **th September. But next day morning due to personal issue I had to divert fund for some urgent emergency and I informed the Cars** staff Mr Pratik Mehta and Mr Sagar Sabharwal in the morning next day that I want to cancel the deal and want refund of my token money of Rs *****. They said they will reply later. But there was no reply from them. So next day again I personally met them and they told me that I should send email on their email Id and they will forward the email to Gurgaon office. I immediately sent the email. For ** days I was trying to follow up the matter via * email reminders, whatsapp messages and calls. They were not giving appropriate reply. On *th oct Rs **** was refunded in my account instead of Rs *****, which was told to me. When I called up and asked Mr Pratik Mehta, he said buyer's service charge of Rs **,*** was deducted. When I didn't buy the car, what service charge of Rs ***** charged. I had cancelled the deal within ** hours of paying the token money of Rs *****. They never informed me that they will charge such heavy service charge, even if I don't buy the car. They are big cheats. I want that my money should be refunded.
