Philip Bryden filed complaint against Goibibo on Nov 2, 2018
On **th August last I tried three times to make a hotel booking via the Goibibo website, payment through PayPal from my UK bank. The first two efforts came up as 'failed'; the third was successful. However, all three bookings were paid by PayPal to Goibibo, and the amounts deducted from my bank account. Each booking was for £*.**, so with two of the three booking invalid, I was overcharged * x £*.** = £**.**. I have pursued the matter with both PayPal and with Goibibo, neither of whom will accept any responsibility. As far as I can see, the money was paid via PayPal to Goibibo, so it is they who must be responsible for refunding the amount of £**.** for two of the three attempted bookings that day. However, I cannot get any satisfactory conclusion to this matter from Goibibo.
