Makemy Trip - Cancelled compensation not given

I booked a ticket from Chicago to mumbai .on the travel dates I was not able to do a check in..called the helpline...they told me at the counter at airport I will get resolution.
When I went ,Turkish airlines,codepartner of indigo told me that there is no e-ticket number (Pnr was given..but useless)and hence they cannot help.
Called makemytrip twice..each call more than ** mts...Maybank at makemy trip really helped...he took indigo manager in call...he said it is their mistake as e-ticket is not given...but said he cannot give alternate flight next day or same day...he was forcing me to take full refund..had no choice but to say yes...

I was stranded at Chicago Airport with no help or no alternatives.

I stayed in Chicago airport hotel(****Rs) and booked ticket next day which costed me ***** more...

For no fault of mine,I was not taken on flight because indigo couldn't get e-ticket issued...I incurred a loss of *****Rs.

I need to be compensated.
