I would like to bring one of my recent experience which has not only alarmed me to rethink before booking any online air travel through such misleading agents. Please review facts below and you can decide yourself how these agents trick their so called customers. Please be aware

July **, **** (*:**pm): Return ticket booked from DEL-SAG for * passengers (Onward Journey Sep **- Return Journey Sep **). Booking Confirmed- PNR generated
July **, **** (**:**pm): One of the passengers return ticket had to be cancelled because of unforseen circumstances. Passenger called Airline #spicejet to modify the bookings.
July **, **** (**:**pm):#spicejet cancels the booking for one passenger. Split the PNR and generates a new PNR for the passenger whose ticket has to be cancelled for return journey.
Since the booking modification request was made less than ** hours, #spicejet refunded INR**** for the passenger whose return ticket was cancelled. However, since the booking was made through @Happyeasygo, #spicejet advised that they will remit the refund of INR**** to Happyeasygo and you should reach out to them for your refund.
This is where it gets really tricky and the whole #scam starts.
After reaching out to Happyeasygo customer service, the representative first informs that you please go ahead and complete your journey. Happyeasygo will submit a refund to SpiceJet and once we receive the claim, we will proceed with refund.
Upon my clarification that I have already got my ticket's changed and they have processed the refund and issued two PNRs (The Original PNR & The new Split PNR for the Passenger), @Happygoeasy customer rep was not even willing to listen to my facts. Instead, he kept on pressing that you please complete your travel and we will process the refund as per our policy.
Upon my asking for a written confirmation to my email, I was advised, someone will be in touch over email soon. I am sharing the weirdest reply one could even imagine receiving for a genuine cancellation request- "Kindly visit on our website and click ''SIGN IN/ SIGN UP'' then click on ''My Trip'' here you can raise online cancellation with the appropriate cancellation option as ‘’flight was cancelled by the airline’’. Also, you have to attach the airline cancellation SMS/ email while cancellation with us". My question, why should I choose flight was cancelled when it is not the case.
As per instructions, after reaching Happyeasygo portal, this is what I found as their cancellation policy. Attached Pic (Please refer)
The worst, it didn't ended there. While trying to modify my reservation, this is how @happygoeasy mis lead their customers- (In this booking, the airline only allow to cancel round trip at same time. Refund amount only INR ***). Happyeasygo didn't even bothered to review my revised itinerary and the new PNR which was shared with them, instead they literally stole the refund they expected to receive from SpiceJet. #spicejet has no such policies. They initiated refund immediately and issued a new PNR.
