We Had Booked The Swati Hotel, Aarambol, Goa On **th Of December **** At Around *:**
Pm For The Dates **th Dec ****- *st Jan **** . After Booking, We Spoke To The
Hotel Owner And Because Of Unsurety Of Good Wifi Signal And Rude Behavior, We Canceled The Booking Within **-** Minutes On The Very Same Day. We Also Called The Hotel Regarding The Cancellation Charges And They Told Us To Speak To Booking.Com And They Will Take Care Of The Same. So We Messaged Booking.Com To Waive The Cancellation Charges After Speaking To The Hotel. We Did Not Make Any Payment At The Time Of Booking.
However, After * Days, On Jan *st **** The Amount Is Deducted From My Credit Card Without PIN/OTP (When We Had Removed The Card Details Too). I Immediately Spoke To The Customer Service Agent From Booking.Com Who Said That They Will Mail The Hotel Regarding The Refund But Got No Confirmation Regarding The Same And Now The Hotel Is Refusing To Refund The Amount.
So Unethical Behavior This Is. We Cancelled The Booking Within **-** Mins. Did Not Block The Hotel. Informed Them. Then Why Charge A Hefty
Amount Of **,*** After * Days When We Never Stayed In The Property?
Booking.Com Is Not Helping Us At All And Asking Us To Speak Directly To The Hotel. And Guess What. Hotel Is Not Even Picking Our Calls.
Refusing To Return Our Hard Earned Money.
