I made an Airtel recharge of *** using amazon.in portal on **.**.****. This number was of my brother and amazon platform showed the recharge is successful. Later the next day I found no amount is recharged to my brothers mobile.
I reached out Airtel over the phone with operator reference given by Amazon and found no such recharge is done. They also suggested me to connect with Amazon. I then reached to Amazon and they suggested to get a written confirmation from Airtel. I mailed Airtel care including their nodal officer about the issue and they confirmed me over email that no such operator number exist on their system and no such recharge process. With this email, I then forwarded the same to Amazon care and requested a refund. They took a long time in the investigation but post that they confirmed me nothing can be done from their part. They gave me a written mail on the same. During this, one month both the giant company has just passed the ball to each other court. The effort to connect with their customer care and writing emails for getting a solution gone unnoticed and meaningless.
Since the recharge was unsuccessful to keep the mobile connection active we have made a *** recharge to the same number using Paytm portal on **.**.****. Looking forward to a resolution with your assistance as we are feeling helpless in front of these giant companies.
