Chandana filed complaint against Airtel Dish TV on Aug 10, 2023
I wanted to disconnect/deactivate DTH connection from my black plan and I called your customer care for the same.
First Call (**th July): Your executive said I need to clear off the outstanding amount which was ***Rs at that time. My monthly bill is **** and I paid ****Rs with the link your customer executive shared with me on the Airtel Thanks App.
Second Call (*nd August): Called again to check why the account is still not deactivated and Harshita said I have an outstanding so it's not deactivated. I told her I have cleared it and I will not pay the amount again and after much deliberation she said they will wave off and asked me to wait for * hrs.
Third Call (*th August): Ashwini picked up the call and I elaborated the same issue and she finally convinced me to believe that she will get it deactivated in **hrs. Nothing happened.
Fourth Call (**th August): Connected with Anthony and the same explanation was given now the outstanding amount was ***Rs. I have not used the DTH from the day I asked airtel to deactivate my account. Finally spoke to Sanjiv (supposedly manager) who asked for a day to get back. No resolution still and have lost all hopes that they will do anything. Even after paying the outstanding I have been following up with Airtel to just deactivate my DTH account and haven't received resolution even now
