I booked Ola on Oct *th *:**pm evening from Phoenix Market City to go to home in Magarpartta City with my brother, sister-in-law and * kids. The driver Bhairav Todkar (car MH**-NB****) was assigned and had difficulty locating him as he stopped short of the pickup location. The calls to him weren’t connecting or answered either. It took additional ** mins to locate him on busy Nagar road and start the trip. Upon boarding, when I gave him feedback on difficulty locating him, he responded in loud tone blaming Ola systems and asking us to complain to them. When we asked him why was he loud and rude as we were politely referring him as “aap”, he responded that now he won’t go any further and shouted to get down from his car. We were shell shocked, outraged at the behavior and gathered kids to get down from the car. He got more aggressive, started verbally abuse laden using filthy expletives. Sensing that he may charge to assault his sister, my brother (serving Colonel in Indian army) tackled him and ended up in a scuffle. As passerby intervened, the driver ended up tearing my brother’s shirt and scratched him on chest, eye. The driver, as a pro, blamed my brother stealing *,*** Rs from his pocket. As situation became tense around us in Nagar road, our family managed to take an auto and move away from the scene for safety of kids and females. We registered a complaint against the Ola driver in Viman Nagar police station and also expected Ola to take action against such lousy drivers based on our abhorrent experience. Forget action against the driver, I noticed that Ola has blocked me to use their services. The purpose of this is to help Ola riders learn from my experience and instill the belief that Ola will protect their drivers not their customers. You are next if you don’t save yourself from Ola
