I placed an order of OnePlus *T pro at Amazon.in on *st December **** A delivery guy came to deliver a package from Delhivery courier service on *rd December **** around **.** am. I gave him OTP and took parcel and immediately opened the package which was from Amazon, but there was a perfume inside instead of Phone.
As I opened the box in front of delivery guy only, I immediately talked to delivery guy he called his superior immediately in front of me but asked me to call Amazon customer service as the delivery code was already entered.
So I called amazon customer service and they escalated this issue informed me I'll get an investigation call from local delivery team within two-three days but upon daily follow up I was told by customer service team that I've to wait for * days and the resolution will be provided till *th December ****.
So I waited patiently but simultaneously I posted the issue on social media that is Instagram and Twitter. Upon which I was asked to fill a form with relevant information and I filled it I followed all the steps I was asked to follow.
On *th December **** I got a call from Delhivery investigation team, I was asked few questions such as, if the item's box was broken upon opening and was there any damage to the box? I answered all the questions.
On *th December **** *.** pm I received an email from Amazon stating the product was delivered to me in intact condition which is not true.
Because I have received a perfume instead of Rs.***** One plus *t pro.
I was told upon investigation they came to conclusion that the package was delivered in intact condition but if investigation was really conducted then the delivery guy's statement, testimony should also be considered as I opened the box in front of delivery guy.also I immediately had posted pictures of the box on Twitter too.
The box was not in which a phone should be delivered it was a wrap box.
After that I called Amazon customer service they denied me any help as the issue was forwarded to social media team and on Twitter upon raising this issue again and again I received three mails stating the same thing that no return or replacement can be made as the intact product is delivered to me.
Which is not true.
And also everytime some different person responds to mail which makes it clear there is no successive follow up and my request of reinvestigation is also not entertained.
Also I called back the Delhivery investigation team who had called me to investigate on *th December **** and they state that the investigation is still going on and Amazon is sending auto generated mails, if this is true then Amazon is lacking basic investigation skills, I'm ready to wait as my money is at stake but I request Amazon to take delivery guy's statement and return me my money/ phone.
It is matter of whopping amount of RS. ***** and investigation is not conducted.
For more reference I've attached the video of the box that I received.
I've been a victim of fraud by Amazon and now any assistance is denied to me.
Also one more thing I would like to state Amazon should provide a detailed information about " ways to check the liability and originality of the product and delivery system should be more crucial and detailed" as on the day of delivery I was sent only a text message with an OTP no precautionary information was provided.
