- 3G services not working since April 02 2019 despite repeated complaints Closed
I have an idea number. I have been using it for almost a year with a *g phone set & had no complaint in regards to speed till March **, ****. I received the GPRS settings from idea stating that for a better speed I should install them. I did and since then I have never seen the internet speed exceeding **kb/s. Usually, I was getting * Mbps to *.* Mbps, but since April **, **** its all become history and despite more than * registered complaints at idea customer care and their escalation desk. They have failed to resolve it. Moreover, their customer care representatives suggest that I should use a *g handset. Why should I? When it was working fine on *g then why should I buy another set. This is like the Idea telling me that if I want to use their service I should use a *g set or else I can say bye to speed at the *g network. Why I am the consumer here, the idea is a service provider. There was never such a condition involved that if I don't use a *g set after April **, ****, idea wouldn't let me use the internet at a good speed. This sounds like blackmailing or thievery on idea's part. My pin code is ******, village Babri, district Shamli. It's a shame that despite repeated complaints they list them as resolved on their end without even confirming from the consumer. When a consumer says that it's not resolved they say that it is from their end. What the hell is it? I mean do they have humans answering calls or robots. Let's hope they get some shame now and resolve it. For more details, the idea can go through my voice logs with them. Since April **, **** or maybe check my account history and they would see how foolishly their teams handle the consumers.
