I booked a holiday package with Yatra on ** March **** to Andaman where Yatra mentioned that if the booking gets canceled because of Covid, I will be reimbursed ***% of my money in the form of Credit which can later be used against a new booking or I may reschedule the original one.
When the booking actually got canceled because of Covid, Yatra refused to refund my money saying that one of the hotels has changed their policy. The hotel is not refunding money to Yatra and thus Yatra is not able to refund it to me. I have been following up with yatra for the last *.* months explaining to them that according to Yatra policy I should get my refund and if the Hotels and Yatra are having some issues, the customer should not suffer because of it.
There is no direct way of calling Yatra, their customer service is very slow and where Yatra should be updating me about the issue I have been following up every week for the updates. Also, the customer service gets loud as if it is my mistake that I am asking for the refund.
Basically, I have to work hard to get my own money back from Yatra.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
