snapdeal - wrong product delivered

I had ordered a black maharaja mixer grinder on *th september **** and it was delivered on **th but the colour which I received is white & maroon instead of black also it stopped working on the next day and when I tried to return by complaining at snapdeal customer care they said that it will be returned within the return period but now the return window has closed and they are saying that it has been rejected by the backend team, then what is the point of *days easy return policy which was mentioned in the product page while purchasing the product. I had talked to snapdeal customer care several times but they are refusing to take the product back and issue refund for the same.
