Huda Rajput filed complaint against Air India on Mar 25, 2023
Hi,
My name is Huda rajput, i reside in Bangalore with my elder sister due to work, my family resides in meerut and on **/**/**** my younger brother who was ** years old died due to cardiac arrest, it was a sudden shock to our family to have lost our younger brother, we as elder sisters had to go to see our brother for one last time, hence we booked the ticket from Air India through MakeMyTrip.com at **am of **/**/**** due to emergency and the flight was at **:** am, we booked Uber and reached the airport just in time, but unfortunately your counter staff couldn't understand the situation and wasted our time at the boarding counter and did not let us board the flight saying boarding is already closed, even the security people present at the airport scolded your staff after knowing about our situation and said they could have allowed us to board as we were at the airport in time.
We couldn't not see our younger brother for one last time because of your incapable staff failing to understand the situation and take necessary action on the humanitarian grounds, Their inefficiency has left us with a invisible scar that we'll have to live with for our entire life.
Now, what's done is already done no one can change this. Now I am writing this email to your after multiple attempts to contact your customer care number and also we had a brief discussion with your booking partner MakeMyTrip.com and they couldn't help us with our request as it's beyond their reach and advised us to get it touch with the airline itself as it is their call.
It's my humble request to refund my entire booking amount on the humanitarian grounds. We would not want escalate this issue further more untill and unless we are forced to do so.
We have our records from uber as we have reached the airport in time and also the CC TV cameras confirming our arrival at airport in time.
Please do verify the same and initiate the refund on the immediate basis.
