Apple - WARRANTY REFUSED BY APPLE FOR PHYSICAL SIM ISSUE IN IPHONE 13 PRO MAX

Purchased iphone ** pro max in April **** and was working fine till sept ****, In sept ** I activated esim in it after which physical sim completely stopped working. Called apple care many times and they suggested to show it to apple service center which i did. Service center ran MRI on it and said it has to be sent to Bangalore for checking. Device was submitted to service center on *th Oct **** and returned on **th oct without repairing or replacing it under warranty. Apple is claiming that issue is not covered under warranty.
Kindly help in resolution as device is under warranty till April ****.
I have been mentally harassed by apple during this time.
