Croma - Urgent Complaint Fraudulent Misselling Forced Billing of AppleCare at Croma Kathriguppe Immediate Ac

I am filing a strong complaint against Croma Kathriguppe regarding my recent purchase (Invoice No: SLA************, dated **-Sep-****).

Your store staff engaged in fraudulent mis-selling and unethical practices:

At the time of purchase, I clearly told the staff that I do not want AppleCare+.

Despite this, they pressured and forced me into buying AppleCare+ by instilling fear of breakage.

I was misled with false information that there is no discount on the iPhone, but there is a ₹*,*** discount on AppleCare+.

However, without my knowledge, the discount was wrongly applied on the iPhone instead, while AppleCare+ was charged at full price.

This manipulation of billing is deliberate, dishonest, and amounts to cheating the customer.

When questioned, the staff (Manju and Manager Shivu) gave false excuses about a internal manager discount (not mentioned anywhere on the bill) and behaved in a rude, unprofessional, and intimidating manner.

I do not believe that TATA as a brand trains its employees to mislead and harass customers. This seems to be a case of store-level malpractice and misuse of trust.

I demand immediate resolution:
Cancel AppleCare+ and refund ₹*,*** immediately.

Provide a written explanation for this fraudulent billing.

Take strict disciplinary action against the responsible staff at Croma Kathriguppe.

If this issue is not resolved within ** hours, I will:

File a police complaint for cheating and fraud,

Escalate to the National Consumer Helpline (**** / consumerhelpline.gov.in) and pursue a consumer court case,

Escalate the matter to Apple India for misuse of AppleCare+ branding,

Publicly post this incident with invoice proof on social media, consumer forums, and press platforms to warn other customers.

This is a case of mis-selling, forced sale, and fraudulent billing. I expect immediate cancellation and refund of AppleCare+.
