I tried to book a hotel in oyo app on **nd september and when i used the pay now button and clicked the upi option, the site said "Something went wrong, Please try again later", I didnt think much of it and proceeded to book another one, later on in the day at * pm I recieved a message from my bank that *** rupees have been debited from my account even though there was no booking of any sort. I tried calling oyo but they told me to contact the bank and when I called the bank (SIB) they told me to lodge an fir against the fraudulent transaction. Why do I have to go through the ordeal of visiting a police station and lodging an FIR for something that didnt even book. Im frustrated and I feel so bad to have incurred a loss of hard earned money.

I have booked an Oyo room today and made online UPI payment . The transaction was successful, money was deducted from my account but in the Oyo app it still shows payment pending.
