Please don’t book OLA, most unsafe cab service.
Today I booked an OLA cab for my Dad from Rajdhani college, Delhi for Gurgaon. BOOKING DETAILS ARE MENTIONED BELOW-

Firstly, driver refused to come at the pickup point and instead asked my Dad to come at some other point(approx *km away from the pickup point). My Dad who is a Senior citizen has a problem in walking due to knee issue, so I dropped him at the said point.
Later on when Driver came to know from my dad that he has to go to Gurgaon, he first took the OTP from him and then he called me saying that he is not carrying any cash and for toll tax he will need cash, he asked me to change the payment mode or cancel the ride otherwise he will not proceed. I told him that I will call OLA customer care, he blatantly lied to my Dad that your son is calling you and asked him to get off the cab. When my dad came out of the cab he rushed away from that spot leaving my dad stranded on the road.
I immediately called OLA customer care but was appalled with the fact that they are taking this issue very lightly. Their customer representative told me that they will take an INTERNAL action against this driver but also conveniently added that they cannot inform me about the action they will take nor I will be given any follow up about it. Also, when I asked them to at-least book a cab as a compensation for my Dad now when he cannot go anywhere else, I was expecting that @OLA must be having some policy or SOP’s to handle these kind of scenarios to protect their senior citizen customers but a cab company like OLA does not have any such policy.
Not only this, the customer representative had the audacity to tell me, you can do whatever you want to when I told him as a customer I will file a complaint against your company for this insensitive and callous behaviour towards a Senior citizen.
Had I not been there, my Dad would have been left standing on the roadside
