I booked a restaurant through Swiggy Dineout on **/**/**** for *:** pm at The Mills Social , Sangamwadi Pune ( Address: Unit *, The Mills, Raja Bahadur Mill Rd, behind Sheraton Grand, Sangamvadi, Pune, Maharashtra ******) with a confirmed booking and a **% flat discount offer on the total bill amount. Upon completing my dinner and attempting to redeem the discount, I discovered that the booking had been canceled by the restaurant without any notification to me from Swiggy.
This lack of communication forced me to pay the full bill amount of ₹*,*** instead of the discounted amount of ₹***, resulting in a financial loss of ₹*,***.
Issues Faced:
Swiggy Dineout failed to inform me of the cancellation.
Customer support refused a refund and offered only a ₹*** coupon, which is grossly inadequate given the financial loss and inconvenience caused.
The cancellation and lack of communication reflect poor service quality and negligence.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
