no broker - Uninformed Warehouse Overcharges and Violation of Agreed Terms

Dear NoBroker Escalation Team,

I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding the warehouse storage charges being levied on my *BHK booking.

When I initially booked the warehouse, I was clearly informed that since it was for a *BHK unit without any furniture, bed, or mattress, the monthly charge would be ₹*,***. Based on this understanding, I have been continuing the arrangement in good faith.

A few months ago, I had removed around ** cartons from the warehouse and made a payment of ₹*,*** directly to the warehouse team — which, as clarified, was only for facilitating access since the Porter team collected items directly from the storage location.

Recently, when I informed the NoBroker team that my shifting date is **th October, I was suddenly told that I must now pay ₹*** per day for *BHK storage, which was never communicated to me earlier — neither via email nor during any phone conversation.

In fact, during a previous call with Poonam, when I confirmed my tentative shifting date, she reiterated that the charges would remain as previously discussed. Therefore, this sudden increase and demand are unjustified and appear to be a violation of the agreed terms.

Additionally, I had a conversation with Balaji, who initially stated that there exists a document mentioning a ₹***/day charge. However, when I requested him to share it, he changed his statement, denying having said that.
For transparency, please note that I have this call recorded.

Under the Consumer Protection Act, ****, I have the right to be informed about the quality, quantity, and pricing of services, including a clear breakdown of all applicable charges. Imposing additional charges without prior written notice or agreement constitutes unfair trade practice and lack of transparency.
