Sunita Ganjoo filed complaint against No Broker on May 7, 2025
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided for the painting work at my residence ****, Mantova, Mahagun Moderne, Sector **, Noida, UP, following the inspection conducted by Mr. Vishal Chauhan on April **, ****.
After his inspection, the painting work was assigned to one of your contractors, Mr. Munsif, and his team. It was agreed that Tractor Emulsion would be used for the ceiling and Royal Shyn for the walls.
However, the situation took a disappointing turn starting on April **, ****, when the work commenced. Mr. Munsif arrived with one worker, and after briefly assigning the task to him, left the site. Unfortunately, the individual left behind was not a professional painter and appeared unsure of how to begin. Despite this, with assistance from my family members, he managed to mask one room and began the painting work.
When I returned in the evening and inspected the painted area, I was shocked to find that the quality of the paint used was substandard, resembling a local distemper rather than the agreed-upon Royal Shyn. I immediately raised this issue with the painter, who was unable to provide a clear explanation for the choice of paint. Eventually, he presented a used bucket, claiming it contained Royal Shyn. The bucket had been repainted white, presumably to conceal its authenticity.
Upon noticing this, I promptly contacted Mr. Vishal to inform him of the situation. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Munsif called, apologizing and requesting that I not escalate the matter further. He assured me that he would bring the correct paint the following day. With some reluctance, I accepted his apology, and the next day he brought a new bucket of paint, which I had scanned for authenticity, finding it satisfactory. The work then resumed.
However, the issues did not end there. On April **, ****, upon returning home from work, I was alarmed to discover that the furniture had not been properly masked, and my family had to cover it with bedsheets. Additionally, the living room walls, which are covered with wallpaper, were not masked, resulting in paint being splattered onto the wallpaper, ruining it Partially. When I enquired about this, my family members informed me that the worker had demanded that we should arrange for the polythene if we want get it covered as they were short of polyethene.
To make matters worse, one of my valuable vases, worth Rs. *,***, was broken by the contractor's worker. During his visit on April **, Mr. Munsif stayed at my home with the apparent intention of selling his own products. He also tried to sell wallpaper and wall textures to me, which he had shared with me previously, with Mr. Vishal's knowledge.
I immediately informed Mr. Vishal about these ongoing issues. He assured me that this would be the last job for Mr. Munsif, and that he would be removed from the panel. I questioned why Mr. Munsif had been assigned to my project if his performance was already known to be subpar, but Mr. Vishal did not provide a satisfactory answer.
Given the mental distress caused by this experience, the hardships faced by my family due to the unprofessionalism of the contractor, and the financial loss from the damaged wallpaper and broken vase, I regret to inform you that I wish to withdraw from your services with immediate effect.
