I returned an order on the Ajio app almost a year ago. The refund amount was credited to my Ajio wallet. Despite having my phone number and email registered, and notifications enabled, I received no alerts or reminders before the wallet balance expired. The expiry policy was buried in the terms and conditions—nowhere clearly visible during the order or refund process.
Recently, I discovered my wallet balance had expired. When I contacted Ajio customer care, they said the money could not be retrieved. The balance in question was a valid order refund, not a promotional credit.
I find it unfair that Ajio can forfeit legitimate customer refunds without clear, advance notification or transparent communication of the expiry policy. I respectfully request that Ajio restore my expired wallet amount and improve customer notification practices to prevent similar experiences for others.
Relief Sought:
Restoration of the expired wallet refund.
Transparent communication and timely notifications regarding wallet balance expiry.
