Gomechanic - Unacceptable Service Experience Demand for Refund and Resolution

The trailing message was sent to Mr Abhishik, supposedly claimed by himself to be from the Gomechanic Escalation desk, on an email address provided by himself. He made it very clear over the call that sending the mail to Gomechanic is going to be my waste of time. Little did I know that the mails would actually not work because my mails would be rejected.

Despite messaging him to find me the email address for the escalation desk that goes through he rejected my request and failed to respond.

I hope this message reaches you with the urgency and frustration that I am feeling at this moment. I am writing to express my profound disappointment and utter dismay regarding the abysmal service experience I recently encountered with your company, GoMechanic.

On **th August, I entrusted GoMechanic, through your service buddy Mr. Udit Arya +** **********, with the responsibility of basic service of my car, a Maruti Suzuki SX*, and addressing an issue where the vehicle was shutting down while in motion. The car was delivered the next evening. To say that I am disappointed with the level of service provided would be a severe understatement.

Here are the myriad of issues that I faced throughout this ordeal:

Incomplete Service: The most basic promise of servicing my car (without an oil change) was not fulfilled properly. Car was not cleaned (covered in dust, tires and sections near it were dirty, interiors were dirty). If you had replaced the spark plugs and the air filters as part of repairs, why was I still charged for air filter & spark plug cleaning.

Unprofessional Behavior: Mr. Udit Arya, your service buddy, exhibited a shocking lack of knowledge about cars and the progress of my order. His unprofessional and irritable behavior made me feel like I was doing his job for him.

Poor Communication: The communication from GoMechanic's end was virtually non-existent. I had to take the initiative to get updates, inquire about the progress of my order, and ensure that the necessary repairs were being carried out.

Unsanitary Condition: When I received my car, it was not only incomplete but also disgustingly dirty both inside and outside. This is entirely unacceptable for a service that I paid for.

Substandard Workshop: To make matters worse, when I visited the workshop myself, I was appalled to find a sub-substandard facility with a lack of professional tools, equipment, and an overall shabby appearance. This not only raises questions about the quality of work but also about safety standards.

Unnecessary Charges: It became evident that GoMechanic's motive was to make money rather than provide genuine and necessary service and fixing the actual issue at hand. Needless repairs were made, yet the original issue persisted.

I find it utterly unacceptable that I entrusted my vehicle to GoMechanic, only to be subjected to such a horrendous service experience. Therefore, I hereby demand the following actions to rectify this situation:

Full Refund: I expect a complete refund for the service provided, which was not only incomplete but also of a highly unsatisfactory standard.

Compensation: In recognition of the immense inconvenience, frustration, and the sheer waste of my time, I demand compensation for the horrible experience I endured.

Immediate Resolution: The original issue with my car must be addressed and rectified at an authorized Maruti Suzuki workshop at no additional cost to me.

I expect a prompt response and resolution to these issues. My trust in GoMechanic has been severely shattered, and it is incumbent upon your company to make amends for the subpar service that I have received.

Please understand that my frustration and anger stem from the fact that I had believed in GoMechanic's promise of reliable and efficient car service, and this experience has proven otherwise. I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation and restore my faith in your company.
