Baburao Rawool filed complaint against Nobroker on May 25, 2023
I have checked property on **th May, ****. I didn't schedule a visit or asked for owner contact.
**th May, **** story:
I received a call from RM to finalize a flat and send token amount, as it is fully refundable. I've denied sending a token amount and ask to schedule a visit.
I've visited a flat and I wanted to finalize it. I asked for an owner's availability from a field manager. He informed that owner is out of town, and he has taken nobroker service to rent his flat. I've been pushed by RM to finalize the flat and send token amount. RM informed that owner has agreed for the **k rent and **k deposit. He wants to finalize the tenant.
I trusted RM and field manager to pay token amount.
RM has informed that owner's contact details will be shared soon over an email. It wasn't shared for more than * hours of payment. Later RM has shared those details over a call.
I contacted owner and got to know that he has not finalized me as a tenant and same is informed to RM also. Owner wanted to have a meeting with me and then finalize a tenant. Here it shows that RM has lied and asked for token amount from me to finalize a flat.
I agreed to have a meeting with owner. He has scheduled a meeting on **th May, ****.
**th May, **** story:
I've cancelled my weekend plans and waiting to meet an owner. When I called owner, he has cancelled the meeting and left for his personal trip to Karjat. He said that he will call me back soon. He didn't call me.

Owner has not called me yet. I've called nobroker owner and informed the owner's behavior. I've also informed that owner is not going to finalize me as a tenant until he will have a meeting. I asked for refund, if it's going to take long time. RM informed that no need to ask for refund. He will try to reach out to the owner. He asked me to wait and have patience. No more response on same day

I've called RM and asked for the updates. I've sent an email also to ask for updates and refund of a token amount. I've been informed over call that owner is not responding, and RM was clueless about this owner's act. He also informed that senior manager is on weekoff and nothing can be done on same day. He asked me to wait and have patience. They have not responded me over an email.

I've asked for the updated from RM and sent email to RM and senior manager. RM has informed that owner has been contacted. Owner wasn't responding due to some personal issues. They assumed that same is informed to me in advance. I was never informed by owner or RM in advance about any personal issues. They shared my contact details with owner. They responded over email that contact details are shared and owner will contact me. I've not received a call from owner. I got fed up with this and started fighting to get refund of token amount. I've not received token amount and owner didn't call on same day.
I've been forced to take his flat on rent even if owner is not ready with it and denied giving refund of token amount. They are claiming that I'm backing out to take flat on rent and refund cannot be given.
If owner doesn't respond and respect other's time, how can I have deal with them. I've informed the same over an email to RM and Senior manager. I've shared same experience over a twitter.

Story post **th May, ****:
I've kept sending email to RM and senior manager and they never responded to me over an email. They were calling and telling me to forget refund as I backed out. They were never ready to understand, I backed out due to owner's negligence. If Owner or RM have given advance notice to wait for * days, I would have agreed to it. It's not fair to being unresponsive.
Twitter team has responded with below message. Later Twitter team was just copying same message to my other questions.
"@RawoolBabu** Hi Baburao, we understand that you've finalized property through NoBroker, completed the payment, and received the contact number of the owner from your assigned relationship manager. We also understand that your attempts to establish communication with the owner have been unsuccessful. However, we have reviewed the situation and regret to inform you that a refund for the token cannot be granted at this time. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with."
I always had to wait for hours to get call back from RM post giving a missed call. he has never picked my call.
Due to all this incident, I've lost Rs **,***/-
