Air india - Ticket was not booked still i was charged

This is Rahul Mandal, Recently, I was trying to book a ticket on the air India app, and on the final page after putting my credit card details i got an error saying the method not allowed and the ticket was not booked but the amount of Rs. **** was debited from my credit card. so it was really urgent to book a ticket at that time so because of multiple failures in air india app i decided to book a ticket from a different website. before booking a ticket from another site i refreshed the air india app multiple times in case the ticket has been booked or not but there was no booking. so i decided to book a ticket from a different website and i finally booked the ticket from makemytrip. After a long time i got a mail from air India that your ticket has been booked. seriously, what kind of nonsense is that. so after that, i called air India and told them about the whole story of what happened. after listening the person told me that we can not do anything you have to cancel the ticket on your own and the cancellation charge is ****. please tell me is it my fault ?? the app did not work, not booking done but they charged me, and after so long they send me a mail saying your ticket has been booked. they also told me that in * hours someone from air India will call you and resolve your problem but the call never came. so it's my request Kindly look into the matter and help me get my money back. Also please find the attached screenshot of the error which i got while booking on air india app.
