Air india - Return flight refund not processing

We have booked air india flight AI*** from Delhi to Ahmedabad on **Jan and return via Vadodara on **Jan By AI***. The flight Al*** got cancelled and the passengers were subjected to torturous wait at the airport with false assurance that the flight would leave soon. The staff was incompetent, rude and no support to the stranded passengers. Since the flight was cancelled incurring huge amount of loss, we had no option than to cancel the return flight. Now the airline is making reservation to refund the return flight money which primarily happened because of their cancellation leaving Delhi on the **th Jan.
