Travolook - Ticket Not Booked and amount not refunded

Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to raise a complaint against an online fraud which happened with me while trying to book an air ticket.

I tried booking an air ticket on **-Jun for my spouse travel via Travolook but the booking didn't complete albeit the amount of Rs. **** were debited from my bank.

I tried reaching out to the website contact number but it was not reachable and instead I received an email that the amount would be refunded within **-** working days.

I immediately sense fraud and contacted the bank and they asked me to wait for *-* days. Also checked on Internet and found that its a fake site and its their modus operandi and the amount NEVER gets credited back to the account and they keep lingering on with a standard reply.

After that on **-Jun, I raised the complaint with the bank followed by another complaint on **-Jul

My *st complaint reference no is PUNC********** and *nd one is MUMP********** (#********).

Yesterday I received the confirmation from bank the amount from their side is irrecoverable and I need to lodge a police complaint.

Interim, I was continually trying to reach out to Travolook via email and via phone but all in vain.

Hence, I am compelled to write a complaint in hope to recover my hard earned money and also prevent such fraudsters from tricking the customers.
