iBall - The product is not supported on my Laptop OS.

i have purchased an iball usb wifi adapter for my macbook pro because i saw it is written mac os compatible on the packing. i tried to connect it with my laptop and it was not working with the driver. I did a live chat with the technical support and they said it will support only till mac os sierra **.* and mine is sierra **.**
on the other side of the packing, they have clearly written all the versions of windows which is compatible with but no specific mac os versions but they have written it mac os compatible. i tried calling iball customer service many times but it was not working.
now this product is of no use for me because it is not supported on my laptop. i have paid rs.*** for the product and purchased it because they have written it mac os compatible on the packing. now I want to return the product and I want my money back.
