Abdul Kaleem filed complaint against Whirlpool on May 24, 2019
I bought Whirlpool White Magic Royale *.*kg **th April ****. The product is very good and satisfying. In July **** I faced a small problem in my machine and I rang up to customer care service. They send a technician, He came and solved the problem and received the service amount. Then he changed the capacitor of the machine. I ask him why you are changing it. He said the company itself asked to change the capacitor after two years. That time I got mild doubt and checked the capacitor letters on the capacitor was double printed. But it was my foolishness I believed the technician's words. The next day Outlet of water was repaired. I rang up to technician and said about the fault. He came and changed the equipment and received Rs.***. I rang up to his number because he said the service amount I paid to him will be free of service for one week. Then after * or * days, I faced another problem that the machine did not spin. He came he rotated the drum twice or thrice and the drum spun. For a few weeks, it was normal again the machine did not spin. I did the same what the technician did and used the machine rarely. I faced the spinning problem but now before * or * months ago often I faced the problem. Now I realised that he [technician] took the original and replaced the duplicate. So I rang up to the same technician and said about the fault he came and checked and now asking Rs. **** for repair. So I rang up to customer care service last month in starting dates and asked whether the company asked to change the capacitor of the machine after * years with free of cost. They said no and I raised a complaint on the technician. So the customer care service gave the helpdeskindia@whirlpool.com. I mailed but there was no response. Again I rang up to the customer care service they gave the service manager [Vignesh] phone number. From him also I did not get the proper response. Then I mailed to CEO mail and to the headquarter mail id also but till now there is no response. I do not know what to do. Please help me. Nearly two months I am fighting for this. I googled what will happen if a bad capacitor is used in the washing machine. The same I am facing now. To solve the problem he is asking Rs. ****. I have voice recording as proof that the company technician changed the capacitor and replaced the bad one.
