Subject:Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you to request a refund for my train ticket due to the delay and eventual cancellation of my journey. I had booked a train journey on train no ***** on *th March from Panvel to Kozikhode with PNR No. ********** and **********
Unfortunately, the train was delayed for more than ** hours, and as a result, I was unable to make my journey. I had no choice but to cancel my plans and return home. I promptly filed a Ticket Deposit Receipt (TDR) request for the same, but to my dismay, the request was repudiated.
As per the Indian Railways' rules, passengers are entitled to a refund if the train is delayed by more than three hours and the passenger does not travel. Therefore, I request you to kindly consider my request for a refund of the ticket amount as per the rules.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
