Had a very bad experience with Ola. And this is not the only episode.
On **th April, ****, booked Ola cab for a trip from my home to airport in Chennai. We were on our way to London. Booked for *am, guy called me at *:**am, he isn't coming. Damn.... No choice, I have. Rebooked * cabs, smaller ones; as they didn't have a bigger cab at that time.
Cabs arrived at *:**. * cab driver, Ramachandran was very rude. Said, he won't put on AC in cab. Asked why? Told, he cannot. And he told me to cancel the ride. Seeing him this way, other can driver also did same thing.
I informed them, if they don't want to booky ride, they will have to cancel, as Ola will penalise me Rs. **.
They cancelled off the rides and rode away. Imagine, I have to catch an international flight at *am, and at *:** am, they just ride away (my home is ** min away from airport).
I then booked local taxis and went to airport. Reached at *am. * hour before departure. Entire family check-in had to be done. Cleared security gates by *:**am. Luckily, flight was */* he delay, and I could make it. Had it been on time, I would have missed the flight.
And then, next when I check Ola app, I find they have deducted ** rupees from my account. I immediately put up a mail request to them, stating they have made a mistake, by taking one sided decision. Past * month, there's no revert. Now I plan to take it up in the open.
I want to approach consumer court. Can anyone guide me???
I have already brought down my use of Ola, and shifted to Uber and Fast Track...
