Golu Dubey filed complaint against Swiggy on Aug 14, 2024
My Swiggy order #*************** placed at **:**PM dt **.**.**** was not delivered even after *hrs, and was then cancelled by Swiggy alone at **:**PM. However, the paid amount was charged as CANCELLATION FEE even the order was not delivered at very *st place.
I connected with * customer executives,
*. Vicky Kumar Pandey- I told him delivery person is going in opposite direction, Vicky assured me that he is at your location and I should pickup the order. Then again he told me that delivery executive met with some accident. I told him that I can help the delivery guy reach hospital and I called him... delivery guy told me that he is in RML, some *-**km far. He started blaming swiggy that they are lying about his location, I assured him that I'll come if he needs any help...but he changed the topic that he may not reach to location..then I asked Vicky (cust support) why did he lie that delivery person is at my location...he didn't have any idea about any situation. He didn't respond. I left for RML hospital, but after **min delivery's phone was switched off.
*. Misha Chaurasia- called me and didn't care to address my issue.
*. Subhadra Bft- called me and after assuring me that she will help me..she called delivery person but phone was off, and then she hung my call while writing in chats that she is resolving my issue, but suddenly, she cancelled my order at her end and didn't refund any amount.
Then I GOT A MESSAGE from Swiggy which read-
"Your Swiggy order #*************** has been cancelled because your order was running late. We apologise for the inconvenience. You will be charged Rs **.* as cancellation fee."
Services not met, delievery switched off phone, order not delivered....whole amount was charged as cancellation fee even I never cancelled the order.
These * executives spoiled my working hrs for atleast *-* hrs, gave me mental trauma instead of food, harassed me like a fool customer even I told them that I'll file a complaint reg. this.
They ignored everyting and left me in agony of regret that why I placed an order today.
Therefore, it is requested to kindly look into it. Though this was a minor issue for me, Swiggy should have resolved it at its end. I've never filed a complaint in my life against anyone or any firm/e-commerce. They work really hard.
But here they are befooling me...thus, I'm filing for a refund of Rs.**/- and compensation amount of Rs.**,***/- for spoiling my *nd half working hour completely, harassing time n again, and left me in mental agony.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
