I purchased a TV from Flipkart in October ****, along with an extended *-year warranty under the Complete Protection plan. On August *rd, ****, I raised a service request (Claim ID: CLAFLK***************) due to a fault in the TV, and it was determined that the TV was not repairable. I was informed that I would receive a refund of Rs. **,***.**, and this was confirmed via call. I was instructed to confirm my refund request through an IVRS call.
However, despite following the instructions and selecting the correct options on the IVRS system, my claim was repeatedly cancelled. After the first failure, I raised another claim (CLAFLK***************) on September **th, but the same issue occurred, and the claim was cancelled again.
On September **th, after multiple calls and emails, a new claim (CLAFLK***************) was raised. This time, I carefully listened to all the IVRS options and completed the process. Finally, the refund was approved, and I was informed that a team would contact me within * days regarding the refund. However, despite this confirmation, no one reached out to me via call or email.
After waiting and following up, I contacted Flipkart on October **th, but I received no further communication from their team. On October **th, I was informed via email that the TV was now repairable and that the refund could no longer be processed. I questioned why the TV had not been repaired in the two months prior, as I had been requesting a repair and refund since August, but I was only repeatedly told that the TV could not be repaired till that time.
On October **th, I was informed that my TV warranty had expired, and that they could no longer repair or refund the amount. However, the TV is still in their possession, and despite several emails requesting its return, Flipkart has failed to return the TV to me. They continue to delay and have not responded to my emails or calls in a timely manner. I have even raised a consumer grievance in consumer portal and even after reaching out to Jeeves via email, there was no update.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
