Whirlpool - Service and repair

I purchased a three door refrigerator on *th April **** and its its compressor got damaged as its under warranty coverage of ** years period.I contacted with the service provider through the toll free number and they attended and informed that it cant repair as its doesn’t have barcode on the front door even ** year warranty sticker labelled on the door is visible.later on I submitted the purchased bill and they are saying it will take more time to repair.
My question is even after submitting the purchased bill and it’s not been one year of period still they are talking about the bar code and its just a paper sticker on the refrigerator door as it will not be stay for a long time as its a daily using item and it will get tear off.
Other than the purchased bill what else they need to do the service .its been more than one week still no more response from the team other than it will take time!
