Started to get *-* green-pink lines. Apart from these display issues, I never faced battery or motherboard or any other technical issues like draining of battery, freezing as I was even using this for office work, without any issues
Apr'**
I went thru a cataract surgery on **th Apr **, when the mobile display completely went off suddenly. Since I had all medical records in that mobile and amidst of the other eye surgery, I had to find a temporary display replaced from local shop to access my medical records and my phone was working absolutely fine.
I was looking for a display replacement from authorised Samsung centre and on searching for it I found that Samsung was providing a free of cost display replacement offer for this model’s technical issues for all those purchases within * yrs time limit. At this juncture I was a month delayed to get this offer
May’** - Jul’**
I Went to Mira Road authorized Samsung service centre named Mobi express LLP, where I explained my situation and showed the temp replaced display. They denied to accept the handset since handled by local shop.
Then I escalated to Samsung CEO helpdesk, to consider the lapse of * month period and service centre’s denial to accept the device. I got call and email from Mr. Ritesh in response to my mail, and requested him to atleast to consider a discounted replacement cost. Mr. Ritesh agreed to my request and told that he has already conveyed this to the respective service centre and told them to accommodate my request for display replacement at discounted price as agreed between them, considering my health conditions.
Aug’**
*st Aug **, as told by Mr. Ritesh, I went to service centre and an acknowledgement for service request was provided. There I was told to wait for *-* hrs to open and check the handset, since I had my urgent office work, I decided to get it done next day.
*nd Aug **, I gave my phone where the technical test went for nearly * hrs and was given an invoice for Rs. ***/- that I paid (copy encl). Orally the technical person, told that its display issue and handover the device for display replacement. Since I did not have an alternative device, I asked them some time to get the device for repair
After resetting my mobile, on **rd Aug **, went and handed over the handset, a ack of service request was given written in hand the approved display replacement cost for Rs. **,***/ (copy encl).
Sep’**
On **th September **, I got a call from Ms. Meena Mishra of Mira Road service centre, saying an addl cost of Rs. *****/- would be charged. She told that apart from the display issues, my mobiles s motherboard and battery are also damaged. Thus the total cost of Rs. *****/- to repair my handset. When I denied to accept their unacceptable charges, as my Phone was working perfectly without any issues before. I also told that during transit or at the desk of technical work, my phone has been mishandled and Samsung is responsible for condemning my mobile and I wanted my handset in perfect working condition
On **th September again got call from Mr. Sneha saying take your handset back. I denied and requested to speak with centre manager. When Supervisor, Ms. Reena, came over call, she was utterly rude and denied any assistance and said to go and complaint wherever you want. Again, I wrote to CEO helpdesk and service head Team, where all my requests were getting responses saying they’re investigating the case.
Till *th Jan’**, continuous email, call has been exchanged, with no person from Samsung taking responsibility to understand the issue, investigate and offer the right solution
