Samsung - Samsung ultra device went into boot loop after 6 1 One UI update

I have got a software update for my Samsung S** Ultra mobile on *th November and once i have updated the One UI to *.* version, my phone became slow and started freezing and went on to auto restart. Later I have visited the service center and got the phone back it worked for * days and then same issue poped up, again I have visited the service center and this time, when i received the phone, its not even switched on & service center claims that the motherboard is gone and i need to pay **k as phone is out of warranty (* years old mobile).
Why will customer have to pay for an issue due to buggy software update.
