i am writing with regard to samsung mobile handset i have purchased on **nd august **** from kabir world, gandhinagar -gujarat.
the product is samsung galaxy j* worth **,***.
below i have mentioned the whole set of circumstances which have occurred since the day i have purchased the product.
on the **nd August **** the mobile phone was working perfectly fine however, on **th august **** onwards the phone started to warm a little bit while using which i thought wasn’t much of concern. same was on **th aug,**th aug and the **th aug.
on **th august **** i had put the phone on charge around *am in morning when it was charged with *** percent of battery. (it was the same charger samsung company’s that i have received with the mobile) and none other charger has been used) .
i had started using it and it wasn’t warm at all.
on the same later around *:**pm afternoon the phone showed ** percent i switched it off to and went to sleep. at around *pm i woke up to switch on my phone it just couldn’t function. as i had some important details and phone numbers i had rushed to samsung customer care service on **th august **** around *:**pm to show the phone and why it cannot be switched on.
after checking the mobile phone at samsung customer care (gandhinagar) they said the phone has been burnt from inside. it was only then I saw the burnt charger point socket (the phone was as it is) and somewhat blackened area around the charger socket.
thus, they kept the product with them for further investigation.
as after * weeks i didn’t receive any information i called the samsung customer care service station they said _its out of companies policy to repair the phone.
we had a conference call on **th september **** with some lady (supervisor) had called me from samsung delhi and the samsung customer care service person (manoj mital) who kept on accusing me not once but * times that i have used some other charger and when i asked him what is the matter with the product that it had burnt in *days of time . he plainly said he isnt aware of the exact reason. plus this person manoj mittal was very rude while talking to me which was unacceptable.
on *rd october **** mr Ravin das from samsung delhi have said that he have spoken with the concerned departments with regard to the same and nothing could be done.
another point is that why this phone had burnt when it was already functioning and had ** percent battery left. it wasn’t on charger point or attached to any socket or wires when it went off, hence, i really need to know the exact reason other than what i have been told since day one.these were my questions to samsung cusomter care service as well as higher authorities who have shown not much interest to give me any proper resolution but to invest Rs. ***** more which is now the repair expenses I have to bear with this product I have used for * days worth rs ***** and got burnt.
it’s been already a month now since i have logeded this complaint with samsung without any proper resolution on *th october **** i got a call from cs-voc vaishali sharma samsung hq delhi stating we apolgize and we cannot do anything about it.
i mean i have used a phone worth ***** for * days it stopped working,its burnt. this could have been fatal or something serious could have occurred. not that the first time a phone is bought or used . first time i am facing such an issue which is indeed a concern for me.
here the phone is burnt within *days which could have lead to an unfortunate incident that would have happened unexpectedly and unintentionally ,resulting in damage or injury to me.
i have an email from the cs-voc on *th october **** from samsung stating that its a good feedback from me and they will take this as further case for improving their product.
What about my loss of money, time I have wasted for almost a month calling samsung plus that mental torture and agony i have gone through and continuously efforts of contacting samsung .few times the executives who spoke to me on toll free numbers were not cooperative enough and raised their tone on me when i asked to speak with higher authority only or supervisors.
samsung has not only duped me with selling a bogus product but insulted me on lots of occasions by accusing me for using other charger for which they do not have any proof and also failed to produce any solid proofs to explain why the phone burnt when it had ** percent battery left in it before switching it off.
i need my money to be refunded ***** plus the charges of whatever legal expenses i will be bearing hence forth to get this thing resolved and the charges for agony I have suffered . in all now i looking for a *****rs. for all i have been through
i have the email from cs voc samsung stating the amount for repairs of the phone is *****
i will be submitting the photos of the burnt phone soon
i am hoping for a positive response.
