Gozo cabs - Ride cancelled by Gozo cabs at last moment

We have booked a cab * days earlier from Alleppey to trivandeum on *th Feb at *:** am. At *:** am we call the driver and he informed us that he couldn't come as his cab met with an accident. After that we called Gozo cabs immediately. However, at around **.** am they informed us that they could not arrange any cab for us now and our booking will be cancelled. This is completely unprofessional for a cab serving entity. We being tourists are stuck in our hotel.
