I have enrolled foI am writing to request a refund of the fee paid for my daughter, Adriti, who was enrolled in the ODA Master Programme on ** June ****. The payment of ₹**,*** was made against Payment Reference No. ************.
Unfortunately, after enrollment, we realized that the batch had already commenced well before her admission. As a result, she has been unable to understand and follow the classes effectively. We had recently migrated from another city, and due to this transition, she has also found it difficult to adapt to the programme.
Further, both parents are unable to provide the required assistance during the online sessions. I am employed full-time, and my wife is taking care of our six-month-old baby, making it practically impossible for her to sit with our daughter during the classes.
I would also like to point out that, before enrollment and payment, ODA did not share any written refund policy or guidelines explaining the circumstances under which a refund would or would not be granted. Had such information been clearly communicated before the payment was made, we would have been in a better position to make an informed decision. Denial of a refund only after the payment has been made is neither transparent nor fair to consumers.
Considering these genuine and unavoidable circumstances, we have decided to discontinue the programme. We approached your support team requesting a refund, but were informed that no refund would be provided without any consideration of our situation.
In light of the above, I sincerely request you to reconsider our case on compassionate as well as equitable grounds and process the refund of the amount of ₹**,***. We have not been able to derive the intended benefit from the programme, and we believe our request deserves fair consideration.
I hope ODA values customer satisfaction and transparency and will resolve this matter amicably at the earliest. In the event that the matter remains unresolved, I will be constrained to seek appropriate remedies through the relevant consumer grievance forums.
