Airtel broadband connection - Refund

On Jan **th, ****, I requested for broadband connection from airtel and sales representative Raj Kumar called me and gave details of all the plans they have. He asked me to pay **** as payment for * months in advance so that he will activate the plan. Even though I insisted on paying online he said its faster Sir you will get the connection faster.
I Paid **** via UPI on **nd Jan **** and I was assured in next * days the connection will be given. Still after * week the connection was not given and when I called the technical team the person answered very rudely saying “I will come when I have time, if you want you can cancel the connection”. From next day the technical person was not attending my call but when I called from my second number he answered and asked for the status he disconnected, and it continued for a week.
I called Airtel office in my area and asked for status they were saying it will take another ** days. When I escalated the sales representative called me and said please don’t escalate I will make sure the connection will be given in * days and it didn’t happen. On **th Feb the sales representative said he cancelled my connection since its not feasible. He said my refund will reflect in my account within * days but obviously I didn’t receive the refund from them. I was chasing for my money for weeks and for past week there is no response from him.
When I called airtel office they speak without even a shred of responsibility and asking me to wait, and I finally got help from Airtel store. He really tried to help me and told these kinds of scams are happening in Airtel and when I enquired the salesperson who took the money from me has already left the job and no such request has been raised on my number for connection. We have already come across these kinds of scams, and we really can’t catch the person in this.
