I booked an air ticket for my daughter and wife with GoAir Kolkata to Pune flight G*-*** bearing the PNR: RE*MTX, date of journey was May **, ****. The said flight was cancelled due to nationwide lockdown for Covid-** pandemic. The ticket amount has been reserved into credit shell for one year by the airline without my consent. However, I have repeatedly requested to GoAir to refund me the ticket amount as I do not foresee any chance of the trip to reschedule in one year from my side. But GoAir repeatedly responding me that they are unable to refund me due to current event which is beyond their control.
Many thanks for your proactive approach and prompt action. This has accelerated and helped in resolving my issue.
