I had booked a flight ticket on Cleartrip from Bangalore to Chandigarh in Student fare and booking was confirmed with Cleartrip trip ID ************. After the confirmation of the same I saw that the baggage was not provided as **kgs. I contacted cleartrip team and they retrieved my booking and told me that due to some technical fault the booking was not processed in Student fare and further suggested me to add extra baggage upto **kgs directly from airline and share us the invoice & we will refund the same amount to the original payment method. On assurance i had added excess baggage upto **kgs and paid Rs ****/-through credit card successfuly. Further I had shared the invoice to cleartrip on email. After * days I got a telephonic call that we are unable to provide you the refund as the air India does student fare is not applicable hence we are unable to help you. In this context you are informed due to the unknowledgeable cleartrip team my amount was forfeited. I request you to please see into the matter and refund the amount.
