The flight booked through Goibibo was cancelled by the airline on ** March ****. Immediately after the cancellation, I raised a refund request with Goibibo. However, despite the lapse of more than four months, I have still not received my refund.
Over the last several months, I have contacted Goibibo customer support numerous times to seek an update. On every occasion, I have been informed that the matter has been "escalated internally." Unfortunately, this has become a repeated, generic response with no actual progress. No refund has been processed, no definite timeline has been provided, and no meaningful explanation has been offered for the continued delay.
As a customer, I have fulfilled all my obligations, and there is no justification for withholding my refund for such an unreasonable period, particularly when the flight itself was cancelled by the airline. The prolonged delay, coupled with the lack of accountability and ineffective grievance resolution, has caused considerable inconvenience and frustration.
I request that Goibibo be directed to:
*. Process the pending refund immediately.
*. Provide a written explanation for the excessive delay in processing the refund.
*. Provide a definite timeline for crediting the refund to my original payment method.
*. Ensure that such unreasonable delays in refund processing are not experienced by other consumers.
I request your intervention to facilitate an early resolution of this matter.
