Raj Sampad filed complaint against Goibibo on Oct 2, 2025
Flight SG*** from Mumbai to Patna scheduled for **th September **** was cancelled by the airline on **th September ****. A refund request was raised immediately, but even after repeated follow-ups, the refund has not been credited.
Goibibo’s social media team stated that the refund was processed, but no amount has actually been received. To make matters worse, the Goibibo app incorrectly shows the booking status as “Completed” instead of “Cancelled.”
This delay and misrepresentation violate DGCA guidelines, which clearly require airlines/agents to process refunds within * working days for card payments. The failure to process the refund and the misleading booking status amount to deficiency of service and unfair trade practice.
Relief Sought:
• Immediate refund of the full booking amount.
• Correction of booking status to “Cancelled by Airline.”
• Compensation for the delay, harassment, and misrepresentation.
