Mayur Shah filed complaint against Air india on May 10, 2021
I, had booked Air India flight through Go Ibibo for Amritsar to Mumbai on **th of Dec at **.** hrs. However, the same flight was cancelled at the last minute and i was stranded at the airport. When asked about reschedule of flight, the airport manager for Air India and the customer executive at Air India told me there were no direct flights till **rd Dec ****. It was impossible for me to wait till then and i would have had to bear the cost of hotel stay, meals and would lose payment due to absence from work. Having no other option, I had to book another direct flight from Amritsar to Mumbai through Spicejet which costed me almost **** rupees much more than the earlier booked ticket of **** rupees of Air India flight. After which i tried to file compliant and ask for refund from both Air India and Go Ibibo. They told me to wait for *** days and now after waiting for nearly * and half months, they refunded me *** rupees against **** paid by me. This was for no fault of mine. And now when i ask about the same, Go Ibibo tells me to contact Air India, and Air India tells me to contact Go Ibibo. I had five tickets of other family members for the same flight booked through flipkart and i received the refund for the same. Please help me receive the refund as both the companies are not supportive.
