Sahil Ravgotra filed complaint against Goibibo on Jul 20, 2020
I booked the Air India flights on **th Feb **** to travel from London-Delhi (**th March), Delhi-Mumbai-London (**th April) on https://www.goibibo.com/. Because of the lockdown, Air India cancelled the flights. When I contacted the customer care of Goibibo, they told me that I do not have to worry and I am entitled to a full refund since the airline itself has cancelled the flights. On **th March, I received an email from Goibibo that my full refund has been initiated (I have email proof). I was waiting for the refund but did not receive it. I again contacted them and then I was told by Goibibo that they have not received the refund from Air India.
I contacted Air India but they never replied. However, I booked ticked from Goibibo so I do not have to do anything with Air India anyway.
Then, I sent several tweets to goibibo and Air India to process my refund but I never received a proper reply.
They send me email that they have processed my refund and transferred ***** in as Goibibo cash (not in my bank account) however I never even received that. I again tweeted and I got the same reply.
After many tweets, they sent me an email that the refund of Rs. ***** has been processed to my bank account. This has two problems: firstly, I never received even this account and secondly, this is not the full refund.
Since I have more important things to do with my time, I cannot keep on contacting them to give my money back. I have wasted a lot of my efforts and time to deal with this, still, I did not get any resolution.
